Clients > Import
.Download the Excel template.

✅ This feature saves time during mass onboarding or CRM migration.
3. Contact & Access Control
Each client record supports multiple contacts with:
Designated role (Owner, Sales Contact, Finance Contact)
Permission to access quote requests or shipment tracking (via client portal)
Access Levels:
Level | Access Details |
---|---|
No Access | Internal record only |
Read Access | View rates, quotes, and shipment statuses |
Full Access | Submit quote requests, track jobs, upload documents |
✅ You decide what each client sees — ensuring control over sensitive pricing or vendor info.
4. Client Activity Tracking
Within each client’s profile, you can view:
Quote requests and their status (Sent, Viewed, Accepted)
Shipment records and profit margin per job
Invoices issued and payment status
Internal notes by sales or operations teams
✅ This supports account-level performance review and history-based selling.
5. Client Tags & Grouping
You can assign tags or labels to help categorize clients:
Type: VIP, New, Inactive, High Volume
Region: Asia, EU, US
Mode: FCL clients, LCL clients, Airfreight-only
These tags are useful for segmentation, filtering, or targeted campaigns.
6. Client Portal Access
Freightek includes a Client Portal (available on Pro plans or higher):
Allow clients to:
Search rates (if permitted)
Request new quotes
View quote history
Track shipment status
Download documents (e.g., Arrival Notice, BL copy)
✅ Login credentials are managed by your team and sent via secure email.
7. Assigning Sales Reps & Territory
You can assign each client to:
One or more salespeople
One branch or office
A region, based on business strategy
This makes it easier to evaluate sales performance and client engagement per territory.
