Track cargo readiness per jobShipment Status & Notes

1. Create a Master Consol Shipment

  1. Go to Shipments > New Consol Shipment.

  2. Select shipment type: LCL, Air Consol, or Truck Consol.

  3. Input master route details:

    • Origin Warehouse → Destination CFS / Airport

    • ETD, ETA, Flight/Vessel/Vendor

    • Container type (if applicable)

✅ Tip: Add internal note with closing date for cargo cutoff.

2. Assign House Shipments to the Master Consol

  1. Use the Assign to Consol function on each client job.

  2. Select the Master Consol from the dropdown.

  3. Freightek will link the shipment, consolidate volumes, and sync key fields (e.g., route, schedule).

  4. Repeat for all house shipments (clients' jobs) in the consol.

✅ View all included jobs from within the Consol record.

3. Document Generation

Once all cargo is confirmed:

  • Generate House BL / HAWB per client job.

  • Generate Master BL / MAWB from the Consol record:

    • Carrier

    • Consolidator/Shipper

    • Total CBM, Weight

    • Attached house job references

✅ This avoids double-entry and ensures synchronized documentation.

4. Charge Allocation Across House Jobs

Use Freightek’s charge distribution tool to allocate costs:

  • Split based on:

    • CBM

    • Weight

    • Flat Fee per Shipment

    • Manual (custom per client)

  • Include shared fees: Trucking, THC, Handling, DOC, BL, Terminal Fee

  • Automatically push costs to each client’s shipment for invoicing

✅ This ensures accurate cost breakdown and profit tracking per job.

5. Cargo Readiness Tracking

On the Consol Dashboard:

  • See status of each house job: Ready, Pending Docs, Awaiting Pickup

  • Use filters to manage readiness by shipper or CS handler

  • Add remarks to track missing info or hold notes

✅ This helps avoid last-minute issues before closing the consol.

6. Export E-Manifest

After all house jobs are locked in:

  • Generate E-Manifest from Consol view

  • File with customs or CFS (XML, CSV export supported)

  • Confirm manifest submission status in Freightek

✅ Required for international consol operations (especially in SEA & EU).
