1. Lead Management & Client Creation

  • Navigate to Clients > Add New.

  • Input company details, contact person, and notes.

  • Assign a sales rep and tag the client (e.g., “Importer - SEA”).

Use the CRM module to:

  • Track all communication and follow-up reminders

  • Segment clients by location, volume, or product type

  • Set reminders for dormant or priority leads

✅ Tip: Use tags like “Potential FCL Client” or “VIP” for easier filtering.


2. Quotation Creation & Sending

Steps to create a quote:

  1. Go to Quotes > New Quote.

  2. Select shipment mode (FCL, LCL, Air, Truck, etc.).

  3. Input client and shipment details.

  4. Add charges (auto-pulled from Rate Management).

  5. Apply markup or discounts.

  6. Export as PDF or send via email directly from Freightek.

✅ You can also allow the client to view the quote through their portal.


3. Quote Tracking & Follow-Up

Sales reps can:

  • View all quotes and their statuses: Sent, Viewed, Accepted, Rejected

  • Track follow-up reminders for unresponsive clients

  • View margin on each quote before sending

  • Leave internal notes and instructions for management

✅ Sales Managers can monitor conversion rates per salesperson and client.


4. Client Portal Support

If enabled, clients can:

  • Log in to search and request quotes

  • View previous quotes

  • Accept quotes and trigger auto-notification to sales

5. Collaboration with Other Departments
